In my 27 years in the beauty and spa industry, I have seen and experienced changes that have been both profound and exciting at the same time. Changes that have occurred are in beauty, health and wellness, along with the attitudes and client behavior toward these ideas. We used to think that beauty was from the outside, but we are realizing that beauty is a sign of what is happening on the inside. In other words, our beauty is a reflection of our inner self.
The reflection comes from the connection with our Mind, Body, and Spirit. If any one of these elements is out of balance, it produces an imbalance on the outside and inside of our bodies that shows up as stress and a variety of deficiencies that may lead to illness. I have studied many aspects of natural healing and this is something we can no longer deny. You cannot open a magazine; turn on the TV or radio without hearing about alternative healing methods. Ancient arts of healing have been around for more than 3000 years. I believe there is a higher power at work in this and we need to start listening. God created these methods long before technology existed. We need to get back to basics and start doing what has worked for thousands of years.
I have developed a Healing Therapy called Conscious Healing that puts many of the healing arts together in one amazing treatment. The treatment is a combination of Thai Massage, Acupressure, Cranial-Sacral, Reiki, Karuna Reiki® , Reflexology, Essential Oil Therapy, Tapping Therapy, along with Head, Neck, and Shoulder Massage. These methods are applied to sooth and relax the entire body and to target specific areas of tension and strain. Throughout your therapy, I will encourage proper deep breathing and focused meditation.
From this treatment you can expect reduced stress, improved circulation, relief from muscle tension, elongation of your spine, relief from neck and shoulder pain, opening of the hips, and possible emotional relief from the past. This treatment lasts 60 or 90 minutes, depending on your preference. It is more than a treatment; it is a SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE that will bring you to a HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS!
Clients may choose to begin their healing session with thirty minutes of gentle Pilates exercise and stretching. With this option, the first part of the session incorporates various Pilates movements that stretch and create length in the spine and neck while strengthening the core muscles of the abdomen. I call this Conscious Pilates Healing.

REIKI AND KARUNA® REIKI
The traditional Japanese Reiki treatment uses special touch techniques to transfer healing energy from the therapist to the client, reducing stress, and promoting relaxation and healing. Karuna® (meaning compassionate action) Reiki uses energetic, or life force energy in a powerful healing modality that creates balance between body and spirit, leaving you feeling lighter, less stressed and deeply relaxed.
